Appointment of Sallyann Hunt as Associate Pastor 

 

In an exciting service at the start of February, our community welcomed and officially appointed Sallyann Hunt as Associate Pastor of Shinfield Baptist Church. In a growing village, Sallyann’s appointment allows the church to better serve and meet the needs of our thriving community. 

In a packed Shinfield Parish Hall, it was a delight to see so many friends, family, members of the community (including the parish council) and representatives of many local churches who prayed for Sallyann. Here was a demonstration of the friendship between the local churches working as one to live out and share the love and good news of Jesus. Funding for Sallyann’s appointment was raised entirely from the finances of Shinfield Baptist Church, which is itself self-funding.
