Gift Aid Declaration for
Shinfield Community Church
I want Shinfield Baptist Church ( the account holding name for Shinfield Community Church) to treat all donations I have made in the previous six years and all donations I make from the date of this declaration until I notify you otherwise.
I confirm that I have paid or will pay an amount of income tax and/or capital gains tax for each tax year that is at least equal to the amount of tax that all charities that I donate to will reclaim on my gifts for that tax year. I understand that other taxes such as VAT and council tax do not qualify. I understand that the charity will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I give.
Date of declaration:
Notes
1. If the declaration covers future donations you are able to cancel the declaration at any time by notifying the church. It will then apply to donations made after the date of cancellation or such later date as you specify.
2. Please notify the church of any change of name or address while the declaration is in force
3. You must pay an amount of income tax and/or capital gains tax at least equal to the tax that the church reclaims on your donations in the tax year (currently 25p for each £1 you give).
4. If your future circumstances change and you no longer pay tax on your income and/or capital gains equal to the tax that the church reclaims, you can cancel your declaration.
5. If you pay tax at the higher rate you can claim further tax relief in your self-assessment tax return.
