A new record may have been created at the Shinfield 10k for a strawberry and a banana. The fruit team, looking distinctly like  Sarah and Mr Theobold, headteacher of Shinfield’s Aldergrove School, clocked possibly the fastest ever time for fruit over the 10,00 distance. 
They were running to highlight Shinfield Church Food Share, a key community activity. We are so grateful for their efforts and all the colour and excitement they brought to this well organised local race.
