This is a reference in support of an application for a person to work as a volunteer with young people aged 11-18 in Shinfield Community Church as a Youth Team Leader. The key purpose of the role is to help the young people to wholeheartedly follow and live like Jesus, growing as they learn to worship, read His word, pray, share their faith, disciple others and serve Him. Responsibilities will include: supporting and developing team members in running Shinfield Youth on Sundays and other group sessions; to build up relationships with young people by chatting to them and having fun; to listen if they raise areas of concern and to pray for the young people on a regular basis. 1.
