Easter on the Green

The full story of Easter unfolded on Shinfield on Easter Sunday morning. It began with Jesus entering School Green with a donkey, leading a procession of his followers and flanked by Roman cavalry horses. The action then unfolded as a team of actors played out the events of Easter with crucifixion and triumphal resurrection. 
Following the play was an Easter Egg hunt hosted by Shinfield View residential home. The whole event was a wonderful team effort with Shinfield Community Church partnered with the churches of the Loddon Reach Benefice, Shinfield Parish Council and Shinfield View.
