Remembrance Sunday

Remembrance Sunday is a time when the Shinfield community remembers by name those from the village who have given their lives in all wars since the First World War. We also remember all those who have lost their lives in conflict and pray for world peace. The service involves a wide spectrum of the community including groups such as the Scouts and Guides, representatives from local schools and is led jointly by St. Mary's and Shinfield Community Church
The service takes place on School Green, Shinfield and begins at 10.45am.  All are welcome to attend. If you live in the village we advise walking to the service since parking is limited (the village car park will be closed to allow the service to take place). If you do need to travel by car, you may  park in Shinfield Community Church car park less then 5 minutes walk to School Green.
